The Process for Car Accident Claims:
Stage 1. Contact us for a Free Consultation: We will evaluation your case, explain your rights and set out all your options for getting a settlement.
Stage 2. Hiring. Investigation. Rehabilitation. Begin Lawsuit: We meet with you to sign the agreement to hire us. The agreement sets out our no-win, no-fee guarantee. Once we have the agreement in place, we begin investigating your case, notify all the insurance companies of our involvement and file your lawsuit. We take over the day-to-day interactions with the insurance companies. We help you arrange insurance coverage for rehabilitation, treatment and medications.
Stage 3. Depositions. Gathering Documents. Experts: Insurance companies don’t pay maximum settlements unless we give them all the necessary medical documentation and expert reports supporting our case. We order all your medical records and hire experts to give opinions on your medical condition, your physical abilities and restrictions, and how your injuries affect your ability to earn income in the future. You will be interviewed by the insurance company’s lawyer — we prepare you for this interview and attend with you. We also get to interview the person who was at-fault for your accident.
Stage 4. Settlement Negotiations. Trial: We begin settlement negotiations, once we have provided all information, documents and expert reports to the insurance company. Having all this information allows us (and them) to better predict what a judge or jury would likely give you for compensation if you went to trial. These predictions about compensation allow us to agree on a fair settlement of your case. While most cases settle out-of-court, sometimes it is necessary to go to court to get fair compensation. Trials last anywhere from 4-20 days and we represent you.
