Hearing on $7,500 Minor Injury Cap

At 10 am tomorrow, Nova Scotia's Insurance Regulator is holding a hearing to hear submissions about the impacts of the new $7,500 Cap on Car Accident Injury Claims. You can read my earlier post on this topic here.

Multi-Vehicle Accidents Create Complicated Injury Claims

On Monday September 28, 2010 there was a four vehicle accident on Highway 104 near Oxford, Nova Scotia. According to the RCMP, the accident happened when a lead car hit and curb and then swerved quickly back on the highway causing the car to go into a roll. Head-on collision in Marion Bridge Nova Scotia sends 3 people to hospital

A head-on collision on September 19, 2010 at Marion Bridge, Nova Scotia, sends three people to the hospital. A young man suffered very serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital in Halifax. The Cape Breton Post reports that the Cape Breton Regional Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.

Nova Scotia Highway 103 Car Accident Injures Young Woman

The CBC is reporting that a 23 year old woman suffered serious injuries in a single vehicle car accident on Nova Scotia's Highway 103 at Exit 3A near Timberlea on Saturday September 18, 2010. The RCMP report that her vehicle hit the shoulder of the road and then lost control and rolled. The RCMP also report this young woman was partially ejected from the vehicle.
