May 2010 is motorcycle awareness month in Nova Scotia. Motorcyclists are at the highest risk to suffer serious injuries and death in motor vehicle accidents. Last year in Nova Scotia, eight people died in motorcycle accidents, and 38 people have died over the last five years.
